WEST BEND — The Cannidote, at 408 S. Main St. in West Bend, and the Plantonic Café, 46 N. Johnson St. in Hartford, have joined forces recently, as the Cannidote will now be offering Plantonic Café products in its store.
The items are kept in a specially-labeled cooler in the corner of the store, stocked with fresh items to support health and wellness.
The cooler features health-conscious products such as:
â– Fresh juices designed to boost immune system function, boost energy and promote overall wellness
â– Energy Bites made with a blend of superfoods for a sustained energy boost without the crash
â– Salads with organic, dairy-free and gluten-free ingredients
â– Ready-to-heat glutenfree and dairy-free items
â– Dairy-free, gluten-free cheesecake.
According to Cannidote owner Jake Cull, this joint venture was years in the making, as he and Plantonic Café owner Tanya Fransen had known each other for some time and had a shared interest in providing health supplements and benefits to the public.
"We stock up on Monday; it’s always organic, gluten-free and dairy-free as well," Cull said.
"We’ve wanted to stock their stuff for a while; easier said than done. Now, it finally worked, and we’re excited."
Fransen echoed the sentiment, noting that the partnership is built on their mutual love of more holistic healing methods, and that this opportunity was less of a question of "if," but rather "when."
"We just knew that in time, we would meet up along the way," said Fransen. "It’s just a great partnership in being able to expose people to more avenues of health and wellness."
Fransen expressed gratitude and excitement for the opportunity to offer her company’s products in this new location, extending her reach to help more and more people.
"Everything that you put in your body matters, and it can either hurt you or heal you," Fransen said.
"The body wants to heal, and if you just give it the right environment to heal, it will."
