TOWN OF KEWASKUM 鈥 A motorcyclist required hospitalization after a two-vehicle crash Sunday, the Washington County Sheriff鈥檚 Office said in a news release.

The Sheriff鈥檚 Office said it was notified just after 3:30 p.m. Sunday of the crash at the intersection of Highland Drive and Badger Road in the Town of Kewaskum. Deputies from the Sheriff鈥檚 Office, along with Kewaskum Fire and Rescue, were dispatched to the scene, and West Bend Fire Intercept and Flight for Life were requested as well.

Shortly following arrival of emergency personnel, initial investigation indicated that a 76-year-old Town of Barton resident was driving eastbound on Badger Road and a 40-year-old Town of Kewaskum resident was riding a motorcycle southbound on Highland Drive when the two vehicles struck in the intersection of Highland Drive and Badger Road.

The driver of the eastbound vehicle was treated for minor injuries at the scene and subsequently released. The southbound motorcyclist was transported to Froedtert Wauwatosa and is currently in critical, but stable condition.

The release also mentioned that traffic was diverted from the area to facilitate investigation and removal of the vehicles. The crash remains under investigation by the Washington County Sheriff鈥檚 Office and no additional information is available currently.
