WEST BEND — West Bend Community Memorial Library announced on Thursday that it will host a "Junk Art Contest" during September.
According to a post on the West Bend Library Facebook page, the event will start on Wednesday. Interested participants can stop by the library, located at 630 Poplar St. in West Bend, to grab a goody bag of "junk" and create a one-of-a-kind art piece to be put on display at the library in the month of October.
Completed projects and submissions are to be returned to the library by Wednesday, Sept. 25. The winner of the contest will be announced on Oct. 31.
