OCONOMOWOC — The man who was killed after he was struck by a train last week in Oconomowoc has been identified as Peter Roschtscha of Oconomowoc.

Roschtscha, who was in his mid-70s, was riding his bike at the railroad crossing at South Silver Lake Street when he was struck by an Amtrak train that was passing through at 1:18 p.m. Aug. 20. The incident has been ruled an accident.

Several railroad crossings at South Cross Street, South Main Street, and South Worthington Street were closed during the investigation. There were no injuries to anyone on the train. Amtrak Canadian Pacific Railroad Police assisted in the investigation.
